i thought for sure i'd fall and break my body on the rocks
then seagulls would devour me until I was all gone
and i'd never get to tell you that i think you are the one

just because im dead

for better or for worse, you'd be to credit or to blame
but since i'm dead i'll never get to whisper in your ear
these things ill never say and so you will never hear
isn't it true that we are all mostly alone,
when we listen to the pre recorded tracks on our casiotones?

i'll behave much better now that i am not alive

i'll be the one in the wooden box laying there alone
