Letra de S.A.R.A.H.
(words and music by Howie Lucero © 1983)

A rented view of a foreign sky from my room, in my eyes.
An early breeze came to share the deep blue sea with the air.
And I breathe as easy as it blows through mango groves just down the road.

Ocean blue naked eyes once refused her to cry.
Though it seems yesteryear, I would keep her every tear.
And I'll keep every memento . . . I can't let go - I can't let go.
Winter's another life away . . . here on this island I have time.

(inst.)

And I breathe as the warm wind blows while I compose letters and prose.

Written truth, spoken lies . . . ingénue was her disguise.
And a scene I could swear I have seen before, somewhere.
So, I read chapter, verse, and line hoping to find some familiar rhyme.
I've still another book to read, but here on this island I have time.
P.S.: Si, Kari Ann . . . am doing fine . . . I'll write again
