Three Signs
Once upon a time there were three businesses all lined up in a rowYou know, the kind of place, one store after anotherAnd times were tough so everybody worried if they had enoughAnd competition heightened, each one trying to top the otherThe first store owner had a thought and put it into writingIt was Friday and the sign went up, it shouted "Year End Clearance"The second owner shrugged it off, she'd studied meditationWhile the third store owner panicked at the first one's perseveranceSo the third one made his own sign, it said "Going Out of Business"He hoisted it on Saturday, so now on either side you had A "Year End Clearance" and you had a "Going Out of Business" So the owner in the middle did the only thing she couldShe didn't wanna do the hype, she knew that she'd get hers all rightShe wasn't out to win nor was she out for any vengeanceWith "Year End Clearance" on the one side and "Going Out of Business" on the otherIt was Sunday when her sign went up And all it said"Main Entrance" From Letras Mania
